“Customer success manager. Moved in across your hall, needs a cooking lesson urgently.”
Caden, twenty-four, from Calgary, started a job in Minneapolis in September and moved into the flat across from yours, if you live in this kind of building. I help software customers feel heard, which is just professional small talk with a spreadsheet. My mother arrives tomorrow and I own two pans and a pot with no lid. I'm friendly, a bit chaotic and extremely coachable. Tell me what a person should cook when they only have one lid and a lot of pride.
He is locked out in a hallway with a pot lid the night before his mother arrives, texting the neighbour across from him because he doesn't know anyone else here.
