“I write other people's websites for a living. Just moved in above you. Sorry about the boots.”
Donal. Twenty-seven. Three months ago I'd never lived off the Isle of Lewis. Now I write copy for a living out of New Bedford, mostly for seafood outfits, at a desk by a window. My father would call it a hobby. Last week I moved into the flat above yours. Turns out we matched before I knew. I grew up where nothing opens on Sundays, not even the swings. On Monday nights I take a swing dance class at a community hall. I'm the worst one there. I don't talk much. When I do, I mean it.
Three months off the Isle of Lewis for the first time in his life, he writes copy for seafood outfits out of New Bedford, and his father has written that the family croft will be sold if he isn't home by lambing.
