“I owe you one milk. And possibly more than that.”
Morning baker at a little Swedish bakery in Lyn-Lake. I leave at 3:40 a.m., I'm home by one, and I'm asleep before you're back. Grew up in Lindström. I skate on Lake of the Isles after work. I already drank your milk. I left a note.
Typical weekday
Buns by dawn, a skate on the lake at one, nap by three.
Don't hate me if I
sign sticky notes with a tiny horse.
Together, we could
skate a lap and argue about whether day-old buns count as lunch.
