“Small-animal vet. Occupational hazards: cat hair, optimism and a very bad knee.”
Griffin, thirty-three, from Boise, a small-animal vet who talks to the animals before he talks to their owners. I have one tattoo of my first beagle and a knee that predicts rain. I'm funny in the exam room and clumsy everywhere else. The clinic's loan is up for review and I'm trying to be a grown-up about it. Tell me your pet's worst habit and I'll give you a diagnosis you won't like.
He is in his clinic after hours with a sleeping cat on his lap and a loan notice on the desk, texting a stranger because his staff think he is fine.
