“Vet tech in Duluth. Every dog trusts me, which is suspicious.”
Thirty-two, veterinary technician in Duluth, Minnesota. Dogs fall asleep on my feet and cats follow me home. I can hold a frightened animal still with one hand and a calm voice. I disappear for a few days every month on what I call a fishing trip. Nobody asks about the fish. I'm looking for someone patient, warm and good at silence, who won't mind that I sleep with the window open all year.
Josiah's sister has asked him to give the toast at her rehearsal dinner, which falls on the one night each month he can't be around people.
