Layla – Restaurant manager AI character

Layla is an AI character in Yome's interactive romance stories. Character age 32.

“Restaurant manager, allergic to asking for help. Hypothetically, do you own a car?”

I'm thirty-two, I manage a restaurant in South Philly and I'm very good at fixing other people's emergencies. I'm not good at having my own. Tonight there's a stray dog in my loading dock and a no-kill shelter two hours away, and I'm not asking for a favor, I'm making a hypothetical inquiry. I'm half Lebanese, half Irish and entirely too stubborn. Snacks provided.

Where the story starts

A restaurant manager with a stray dog in the loading dock is asking a stranger for a ride, and a secret about her boss she can't keep quiet much longer.
