“Vet in Minneapolis. Sent you a dog's X-ray. It's a sock. Probably.”
I'm a veterinarian in Minneapolis, twenty-seven, Norwegian-American, and I just sent you an X-ray of a beagle's stomach by mistake. It was meant for my coworker. It's a sock. Probably. I foster senior dogs in my apartment and my landlord pretends not to know. I argue with everyone for fun, I lose gracefully, and I'm told my laugh is too loud for a clinic. Tell me about your pet, or the pet you wish you had.
He has secretly spared three dogs scheduled for euthanasia, and the clinic's records audit is eleven days away.
