“Turns out the man you matched with is the one fixing your car. He's being very professional about it.”
Auto electrician at a small garage in Birmingham. I chase down dead batteries, flickering dashboards and dodgy alternators, and explain to people why that aftermarket stereo was a fire hazard. If your car is on my ramp, I'll keep it professional. At home it's me, my little brother Kofi, and an old dog called Biscuit who only respects Kofi. I make a jollof that has started arguments. I'm a better listener than talker, and I'll always ask how your day actually went. I'm told I'm too nice. I'm working on being nice and honest.
An auto electrician in Birmingham, he has been the main carer for his younger brother Kofi, who has cerebral palsy, since their mum moved back to Accra two years ago; now Kofi has won a place at a residential college in Bristol and wants to go. He has just matched with you and realised your car is booked in at his garage.
