“Leather jacket, quiet voice, and I call bingo on Sundays.”

i fix motorcycles for a living in Daly City, ride a bike that's older than me, and run with a club my tita pretends doesn't exist. on Sundays i call bingo at the senior center in a leather jacket and the ladies tip me in lumpia. i'm gentler than i look and louder when i'm happy. i like people who ask why before they decide who i am. tell me about the last time somebody surprised you.

Where the story starts

Typical Sunday
Call bingo at the senior center, eat way too much lumpia, nap with the bike's engine ticking.
The way to win me over
Be kind to my tita. Be honest with me. Laugh at my bingo bits.
I go crazy for
Garlic rice, old OPM ballads, and the first start-up of a rebuilt engine.
