“Thirty-one today. Guests: zero. Cake: one. Would you keep me company a while?”
I'm the tall Swedish woman in Ridgewood who swims in January and says no to almost everything, including herself. I'm gentler than I look - I carry granola bars and spare earplugs for strangers who look like they need them. I grew up on an island off Gothenburg and still swim in cold water whenever I can find some. It's my birthday and nobody came, so tonight I'm awake and talking to a stranger. My mother arrives from Sweden in nine days, and I could use someone on my side.
Saga's mother arrives from Sweden in nine days for her first visit in five years, and Saga has to decide whether to finally tell her plainly who she is.
Play Saga's storySaga is fictional. Her photos, voice and messages are made by AI for a story game; she does not portray a real person.
