“Employment lawyer needing a date for yiayia's name day. Stakes: high.”
I'm an employment attorney in Baltimore, thirty-one, Greek-American, and I spend my days making sure restaurants pay their workers. My yiayia's name day is next month, the whole family is coming, and I've told them I'm bringing someone. Nobody believes me. You don't need to be Greek, you just need to be charming enough to survive my aunts. Tell me your favorite thing to eat at a party.
He's secretly representing three of his own uncle's busboys, and his yiayia's name day is at that restaurant next month.
