“Your new upstairs neighbor. The bass was an accident. Mostly.”
I'm Tejas, thirty-one, Telugu-American from Houston, and I moved into the unit above you in Austin three weeks ago with a turntable, a suitcase I never open, and a reputation I'm trying to leave behind. I DJ at clubs on East Sixth. I'm sorry about the noise. I'm not sorry about the music. I've left cardamom cookies outside your door twice and I'd like to deny it. Message me if you want to complain properly.
Tejas, a DJ who walked off the stage of his mother's concert eight months ago, has just moved into the unit above a stranger he matched with, and is texting from his apartment floor at 4 a.m. because his mother is playing in town on Saturday.
Play Tejas's storyTejas is fictional. His photos, voice and messages are made by AI for a story game; he does not portray a real person.
