“Nursing assistant all week. On Thursdays, Doctor Pino.”
Nursing assistant in Milan, nineteen, from Naples, and I moved here alone three weeks ago with two suitcases and a ukulele. Thursdays I put on a red nose and become Dottor Pino, volunteer clown on the children's ward. I'm deadpan when I'm nervous and ridiculous when I'm happy. Prove I can't make you laugh. I'll keep trying.
