Architect, thirty-three, from Frankfurt, three months into my own small studio in Portland, Oregon. I design buildings that people say feel calm, which is easier when you can't see half the colors. I make a precise coffee, speak four languages and fail at small talk in all of them. My old firm is giving me an award next month. I'd like to bring someone who laughs at the right moments.
His old firm is giving him an award for a color-driven building, his former partner will present it, and he is looking for a date and for the nerve to tell the truth.
