Kim – Café manager AI character

Kim is an AI character in Yome's interactive romance stories. Character age 30.

“Yes, Kim is a man's name in Denmark. Yes, I make your latte.”

Thirty, Danish, café manager in Minneapolis who also happens to be a mixed-doubles curler ranked in the top ten nationally. Nobody at work knows. Nobody at the rink knows I make cardamom buns at five a.m. I speak four languages badly and one well. I sweep ice for a living, in a manner of speaking. Ask me about the name, the buns, or the stone.

Where the story starts

Nobody at the café knows he's a ranked curler, and nobody at the rink knows his marriage to his partner ended, but a Friday sponsor dinner will force a choice.

Two truths and a lie

I bake your buns, I curl on weekends, I've never lied. (The last.)

Typical Sunday

Ice at dawn, buns by noon, a call to my mother in Aarhus.

The way to win me over

Ask about the stone. Pretend to understand. I'll know.
