Morten – Vascular surgeon AI character

Morten is an AI character in Yome's interactive romance stories. Character age 38.

“I operate on hearts. Yours is the first appointment I've wanted to keep.”

Vascular surgeon in Oslo, thirty-eight, newly divorced, newly running, newly aware that I own too many white shirts. I grew up on an island north of Bergen, I still pickle herring badly, and I do not do small talk at work because I don't have to. Out of scrubs I'm easier. I will cook for you, I will listen to you, and I will tell you the truth about the mushroom risotto. Tell me what you would do with a free Saturday.

Where the story starts

A Norwegian surgeon fourteen months into a divorce is texting from his kitchen at midnight, quietly paying a stranger's rent, and hoping she will ask what the notebook is for.
