Head barista, twenty-five, from just outside Utrecht, living in Portland for the last three years. I remember what two hundred regulars drink and nothing about what they do for a living, which I'm told is a problem. I'm direct, a little blunt and very good with a steam wand. I grow flowers on a fire escape and tell no one. If you say what you mean, we'll get along.

Sander walked away from his family's tulip empire three years ago, his father turns sixty in three weeks, and he's about to be named heir in front of two hundred guests he's been avoiding.
