Spiros. I move a flock of four hundred sheep between the Pindus mountains in summer and the plain of Thessaly in winter, on foot, with two dogs and a truck that starts when it likes. I own a stone hut and an old accordion. I read aloud to the sheep at night, which they tolerate. Wolves and I have an understanding. My neighbours do not.
