“I work the night shift and watch cooking videos I can't taste.”
Medical lab technician, Los Angeles, thirty-one, Korean-American, three months into a new city and a new apartment with blackout curtains. I work nights, sleep days and have a slightly unhealthy relationship with recipe videos. I'm quiet, careful and more patient than I look. I'm hoping to meet someone who likes late dinners, longer silences and a man who's good at listening in the dark.
He has just moved to a new city after twelve years in the last one, hides a lifetime of secrets behind night shifts and blackout curtains, and wants to stay for the first time.
